Beginner's Fly Fishing School

When: Sat. and Sun., May 1st & 2nd, 2010 (rain or shine)
Time: 8:00 am (four to six hour class)
Where: Private pond in Caledonia
6-12 people per day (no less than 6 per class)

• Knot tying
• Rod and reel selection
• Gear selection...the do's and dont's
• Bug selection
• Why people hire guides
• We will go over aerial fly cast as well as the roll cast

Once these parts of class are discussed we will begin practicing the techniques on the water and will fish for up to 6 lb. brook trout and up to 12 lb. rainbows. (Pond is not stocked).
